Arch of an archway to move from an entrance to the front entrance.
What we offer is the consequent evolution of well-tested solutions carried out in recent years.
ARCO has been designed for installation in existing buildings where the shaft available for the lift is extremely narrow, although sufficiently long.
The primary request is to have the entrance on the ground floor facing in the opposite direction to that on subsequent floors, a typical characteristic of many stairwells.
Using a modern gearless motor to limit power levels, suitable for existing power lines (even single-phase ones), ARCO makes it possible to achieve the speed of a true modern lift up to 1 ms and therefore impressively quiet runs of up to 30 m - with advantages over equivalent hydraulic solutions.
The configuration as a traditional - i.e. not cantilever - car frame, adjusted after careful FEM analysis, gives maximum stability to a remarkably deep car without any need for a third guide, as used in other cases.
Rapid installation and easy maintenance are allowed by
manoeuvrability and accessibility to the machine, to the speed limiter etc.
DATA according to EN 81-20/50 and EN 81-21
LOAD max 630 kg — speed 1 ms with ropes 1:1
CAR with a minimum internal width of 500 mm, the dimensions available vary widely
SHAFT internal shaft width depending on internal car width increased by 190 mm
PIT 1050/850 mm Head 3250 mm or 2850 mm with suitable devices.
Even with only one front entrance, we have the same car frame configuration to take advantage of its stability.
The back of the car is therefore only 220 mm wide, an extremely low value with consequent reduced car depth.
Maximum design flexibility enables us to obtain even adjacent entrances.
The analysis by FEM has enabled us to simulate the skid of the cabin near the entrance, to insert appropriate construction measures to avoid the need for a 3rd guide.
