In the presence of particular design requirements where the machine is required at the bottom we have developed our PENTA model which is installed in pits whose dimensions are not penalized by this solution.
The machine is at a distance from the pit bottom so as not to be damaged by any water infiltration, moreover it is fixed on a base bound to the counterweight guides so as not to have dowels or anything else to be inserted in the pit, walls or bottom.
In the head we have a single sheet metal support structure fixed to the counterweight guides that supports the return pulleys, no structural effort is required for the masonry of the shaft.
The overall dimensions of the support structure are outside the cab projection, which makes it possible to have heads of 2,650 mm.
It is clear how the tension on the return pulleys acts on the counterweight guides, exerting a downward force while the pull on the machine has an upward direction, thus achieving a balance of forces to the advantage of the stability of the machine and the absence of vibrations.
Maintenance and emergency interventions on the machine are facilitated by the position of the same and in maximum safety for the presence of the appropriate devices provided for in EN 81-20/50 and also EN 81-21.
